What can a Diploma of Business (Operations) do for me

This Nationally Recognised BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Operations) is focussed on delivering the practical skills needed in managing across a broad range or levels, departments and industries. These practical skills aim to give you the confidence to work in almost any industry and also the confidence to take on higher study should you wish. That is this Diploma leads to both educational and managerial pathways.

The educational pathway:

At the educational level this Diploma will provide a TER score of over 80 so you can gain entry to a university. In many universities they also give credit for a range of first year courses up to the whole year. This has advantages in that it allows you to step carefully into a degree and reduces the cost significantly.

In addition, because at the Australian Qualifications Institute there is overlap between the Diplomas they offer and as such it is possible to gain a second and even a third Diploma at a much reduced fee and study.

The career pathway:

This Diploma, with its very practical skills, is designed to lead you towards roles to management of small organisations or to working your way up the management ladder in large organisations, all in a very wide range of industries. Your Diploma could lead to work in a very broad range of commercial industries including the fast growing industry of health, retail, construction and HR recruitment or even staff management within a school, a not-for-profit organisation or the public service. Nearly all organisations need Operations Managers.

Can I complete this Diploma part time? by micro-credential?

All Diplomas can be built unit by unit so you can work at your own pace over time. You are provided with a generous 3 months to complete each unit which can also be used as a micro-credential and displayed as an electronic badge on your social media sites such as LiknedIn and on your CV.
