More recently Andrea has worked on a broad range of educational projects in her capacity as an independent consultant. Andrea together with Marilyn Sorbello owns and manages the training organisation Australian Qualifications Institute. Australian Qualifications Institute has been developed specifically to provide online based training at an affordable price to students from around the world. Andrea\u2019s academic achievements, her knowledge and applied skills in management, combined with her extensive knowledge of the education sector is key to her success in educational consultancy and now as CEO of the Australian Qualifications Institute. Past experience includes roles as Institute Director and Director of Education and Training in large educational institutions with operating budgets of over $80m and staffing of over 800. Andrea has also held a range of senior Directing roles including Director of the Office of TAFE Queensland and currently Director of the Australian Orienteering Board.
